Jeronimoh is an electronic music enigma from Cape Town.

THE DJ:
Long mixes and deep journeys from one genre to another, is the story of Jeronimoh's ability to tell a musical narrative. His smooth signature transitions leave listeners wondering how they got from one song to another, with sneaky call-backs throughout the set. Jeronimoh is known for his unique energy behind the decks, always dancing and interacting with the crowd.
Jeronimoh loves to play in the realms of deep, minimal house all the while transcending the dancefloor through the beautiful sounds of progressive house & melodic techno, in order to transition into the energetic, hypnotic sounds of psychedelic techno. Often Jeronimoh will experiment with splashes of break beat & garage. He loves modern takes on older more memorable rave and disco tracks.
THE PRODUCER:
Rhythm & groove... Jeronimoh loves playing with groove and the way that instruments interact with each other. He layers emotional instrumentation, all the while blending in rhythm to encourage people to dance, to feel or both. Whether the emotion is fun, joyful, sad or experimental. Jeronimoh is known to use house and techno style drums with organic layers and loop textures. His production focuses on old-school house synths in conjunction with modular, futuristic and experimental sounds. His instrumentation sometimes includes splashes of guitar, piano and acoustic drum samples.
Jeronimoh gravitates toward progressive musical arrangements that evolve and change over time to tell an emotional story. But every now and then he pops out with hypnotic, repetitive dance tracks that take on a more minimal approach.

Jeronimoh is a people's person who enjoys meeting strangers and learning about other human beings. He is a gentle, rebellious soul who is a scholar of the things that he loves. He often gets obsessed and tries to be the best at what he does. Friendly, open and understanding. Jeronimoh is known to sometimes be a hermit that spends all his time making music, thinking about/studying humankind, watching movies & cuddling with his cats.
